Iboga Healing Retreat
In the traditional psycho-spiritual Iboga ceremony we learn about ourselves on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Iboga helps by breaking ego illusions, letting go of the past, false beliefs, traumas, lies, and attachments.
This 8-day schedule is designed to ensure that guests get the most out of their experience. This gives you plenty of time to prepare for the Iboga ceremony, process it, and integrate your experience.

Schedule Breakdown
Day 1: Arrival
A day when guests settle in and make themselves comfortable. After dinner we gather around the fire we do an orientation. We share about who we are and what we want to achieve in the coming week. We discuss the retreat schedule and general information about the retreat.
Day 2: First Ceremony
We have a private counseling session with each guest where we discuss their personal targets and any questions you might have about the process. The ceremony begins after sunset with a Firetalk. This is where we share the history of the medicine and Bwiti tradition, wisdom on how to get the most out of the experience, and the Bwiti Keys. Guests take the medicine that is given as ground up bark of the Iboga root.
At some point you will want to lay down on one of the mats laid out in the temple area. There you will stay until just before sunrise and let the medicine do its work.
Our staff is present throughout the ceremony to help you with your needs. Drinking water, getting to and from a nearby bathroom, purging (vomiting) or offering guidance as needed. We create a very safe environment for you to focus on your experience.
When the time is right, we will begin the process of introducing you to yourself. This process has been used by the Bwiti for many generations. By guiding you, you can get answers to any questions you have about your life. You may be able to your soul/higher self/spirit.
Day 3: Processing/Magic Day
This day is about introspection, insight, release, acceptance, and rest. So much can happen during the Iboga journey that many insights and realizations happen on Magic Day. As the intensity of the medicine settles, the gifts of Iboga are presented. It is a common experience to receive intuitive messages and deep personal knowledge in the silence of Processing Day.
Day 4: Integration Activity
This is an important time to reconnect with nature. Iboga has cleaned us out and opened us up to the energies around us. This is the time to reconnect with the nature of being.
Depending on the weather and the season we will go to the beach, the SPA, a walk in the woods, a salt cave. Something not too taxing.
Day 5: Second Ceremony
Before ceremony you will take a Spiritual Shower. Its purpose is to completely release the things that Iboga has been clearing out for you. In the space created you can invite your deepest dreams and wishes to come into being.
The setup will be the same as the first ceremony, but no two experiences are the same. Now that you have a relationship with the medicine, you will be more trusting and ready to get to work!
Day 6: Processing/Magic Day
This is another day all about introspection, insight, release, acceptance, and rest. Your providers will always be within reach if you are in need of counseling or guidance.
Day 7: Integration Activity
Another day to important time to reconnect with nature. You are clean, awake, and aware.
After sunset we gather one last time for a closing ceremony. Your provider will give some closing words and invite anyone who wants to share their experience to speak.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast and lunch are served while guests wait to be taken to the train or airport.
